Erected in Affectionate remembrance of ROBT ADDERLEY who died June 21st 1853 aged 58 years. FRANs ADDERLEY his wife who died July 16th 1860 aged 65 years. Also MARY ANN eldest daughter of above April 15th 1845. "In the midst of life we are in death".

In Affectionate remembrance of HARRIET wife of HENRY ADDERLEY who died Aug 9th 1855 aged 36 years. Also EMILY only child of the above aged 2 years and 6 months. "Boast not thyself of tomorrow for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth".

Here lies interred the body of ROBERT ADDERLY SENIOR who departed this life April 3 1783 aged 46 years. "Afflictions sore long time I bore Physicians were in vain Till Christ the chief gave me relief And eased me of my pain". Also ALICE relict of ROBERT ADDERLY who resigned this life 28th April 1795 in the 66th year of her age. "The Lord preserveth the simple and he helped me. Return into my rest O my soul for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee".

ROBERT ADDERLY son of ROBERT and ALICE ADDERLY died 9th December 1778 in the eighteenth year of his age. "Beneath this stone enquiring reader sleeps A youth whose fall each fond aquaintance weeps Just at that time when childhood's pleasing span Draws to its verge and rises into man. He fell as early sacrifice to death How vain man's hope how fleeting human breath. Yet know tho' placed in no exalted sphere He did the best of deeds - his duty here".

Beneath rest the remains of HANNAH wife of FRANCIS BARSBY. She resigned this life July 20th 1804 aged 43 years. "Frail man no more presume fond hope to build, Nor future scenes with fancied pleasures gild, While thus employed some fatal stroke may come, And quick consign thee to the silent tomb".

SAMUEL BARSBY son of THOMAS and MARY BARSBY resigned this life September 14th 1803 in the 29th year of his age. "Kind reader pause behold my fate, Though young I might no longer stay, Reflect, uncertain is thy state, Death soon may call thy soul away".

Sacred to the memory of RICH BENNETT who departed this life on the 20th of March 1815 aged 70 years. Also MARY wife of RICH BENNETT who was suddenly called out of time into eternity on July 25th 1812 aged 69 years. "Sudden alas the stroke that brought her here Spectator pause this solemn stroke revere While lingering pains his powers destroyed and gently brought him to death's silent shade, Yet now we trust their souls above unite In yon blessed mansions of eternal light".

In memory of MARY daughter of GEORGE and LYDIA BRIGGS who died by accident June 12 1824 aged 6 years. Also of SARAH and SAMUEL children of GEORGE and LYDIA BRIGGS. SARAH died July 22 1822 age 1 year SAMUEL died Aug 6th 1825 aged 9 months. "These lovely buds so young and fair called hence by early doom...... the rest is unreadable being under the soil.

Here was deposited the remains of JONATHAN CASTLEDINE who died Nov. 7th in the year of our Lord 1773 aged 67 years. Here was deposited the remains of ANN relict of JONATHAN CASTLEDINE. She died October 17 1781 aged 71 years. "Continue in prayer and watch in the same with thanksgiving. Col.Chap 4.v 2."

"In wasting sickness and disease he lay, By slow degrees our powers consumed away, How oft we wish the friendly hand of death To ease our pains and stop our feeble breath, To take us hence remote from every pain, And land us safe where joys eternal reign".

She departed this life 27th Aug 1790 in the 18th year of her age."Ye young who glory in your youthful prime, Lo one like you thus called away from time. By slow degrees did painful illness waste Her mortal powers but now her pains are past. No more she groans with sore disease opprest But dwells we trust in everlasting rest".

"Afflictions sore long time I bore Thy...... were in vain.....death did seize As God did please And eased me of my pain". (Some words were illegible) Also of SYBILL relict of RICHD MOBERY she died January the 20th 1801 aged 71. "After a short but sharp affliction here I take my leave of you my children dear Lo here I lie in this soft bed of dust Waiting the resurrection of the first".

In memory of WILLIAM OLDFIELD who after a very short affliction was released from the cares of time on 7th Sept 1804 aged 67 years. Also ANN KIRK daughter of WILLIAM and MARY OLDFIELD. She died Jan 12th 1802 aged 21 years.

Here lieth the body of REBEKAH daughter of JOSH and ANN OSBURN. She departed this life the 6th of April 1769 in the 14th year of her life. "What oft's obtained by nature or by arts Beauty of mind or other ex'lent parts Her tender age beyond her years brought forth To mournful parents a loss e'en beyond worth. Passenger stand and read as inner glass How soon those perish and thyself may pass".
