Quorn WorkNet is a group of people who run a business from home, are teleworkers, work from home for an employer, or is interested in working from home in one form or another. The Group has been running for almost a year, and we would like to extend an invitation to similar people from the surrounding villages.

Gatherings take place on the first Monday in the month at lunchtime (12.30 - 13.45) in The Quorndon Fox. The emphasis is on informality, information exchange and a sociable atmosphere.

Over lunch we normally have a formal presentation/talk/question & answer session either run by a member of the group or an invited guest. The is preceded by an informal session where we can just catch up, find out how to fix that computer fault, or even find a plumber. Topics that we have covered in the last months include health and safety for working from home, business and personal planning, Individual Learning Accounts, "Why have a website, and How to do it".
